C.2 IPC-2/CMP-2 option board installation

WARING: Follow the outlined procedure to avoid danger from electrical components.

(1)Verify that the scanner power is turned off.

(2)Remove the AC cable from the year of the scanner.

(3)Remove the two screws securing the power supply and the interface PCA assembly. Pul out the assembly slighly using the tab in the direction shown by the arrow.

CAUTION: Do not pull on the flat cable too strongly or it may be damaged.
