vTurn off the computer, unplug the cables from the electrical outlets for your computer and all attached devices, and remove the computer cover. Check that the audio-signal cable connects the CD-ROM with the audio adapter.

These are some common error messages and actions to take when they are displayed.

vCDR-101

The Not ready reading the drivesituation occurs if you try to access the CD-ROM drive before the drive is ready. The Busy indicator light comes on when you attempt to access the drive after loading a CD into the CD tray. Wait until the Busy indicator light turns off before attempting to access the drive.
