you must remove the media from the drive, turn it over, and insert it into the drive again. For convenience, double-sided cartridges are labeled side Aand side B.

Removing the disc from the cartridge

You can remove DVD-RAM Type II discs from the cartridge for use in a DVD-ROM drive.

Removing the disc from the cartridge

Using the tip of a ballpoint pen, push and break the lock pin tab . To remove the disc, use a ballpoint pen to push down on the cartridge-lid lock

and pull the cartridge lid

out to eject the disc. With the cartridge lid

open, the disc will eject.

 

Attention: Do not touch the recording side of the disc while it is exposed.

Returning the disc to the cartridge

To return the disc to the cartridge, align the label side of the disc

with the

 

DVD-RAM cartridge label side. Insert the disc, and close the cartridge lid

.

A clicking sound will ensure that the lid door is closed.
