Controlling the Status Flag

Select Slot to display server modules numerically by slot number. Click OK.

To set a screen delay time for OSCAR:

Type in the number of seconds (Ø-9) you want to delay display of OSCAR after you press Print Screen. Entering Ø will instantly launch OSCAR with no delay.

Click OK.

Setting a time to delay display of OSCAR allows you to complete a soft switch without OSCAR displaying. To perform a soft switch, see “Soft Switching” on page 12.

3.4.3Controlling the Status Flag

The status flag displays on your desktop and shows the name of the selected Server Module or the status of a slot. Use the Flag dialog box to configure the flag to display by Server Module name, or to change the flag color, opacity, display time, and location on the desktop.

Description

Flag type by name.

Flag indicating that the user has been disconnected from all systems.

To access the Flag dialog box:

Press Print Screen. The Main dialog box will appear.

Click Setup and then click Flag. The Flag dialog box appears.
