Chapter 2 Installing the Home Gateway

Follow these instructions:

1Determine where you want to mount the Home gateway. Make sure that the wall you use is smooth, flat, dry, and sturdy. Also make sure the location is within reach of an electrical outlet.

2Drill two holes into the wall. Make sure the holes are 4 inches (101.6 mm) apart.

3Insert a screw into each hole and leave 2 mm (0.8 inches) below the head exposed.

4Maneuver the Home gateway so two of the wall-mount slots line up with the two screws.

5Place the wall-mount slots over the screws and slide the Home gateway down until the screws fit snugly into the wall-mount slots.
