Mounting the Switch on a Table or Shelf

First attach the rubber feet to the indentations on the bottom of the switch. Then mount the switch on a table or shelf in a position that allows access to the front panel RJ-45 ports, visibility of the port LEDs, and access to the power cord. Make sure that the mounting surface can safely support the switch and that there is adequate space around the switch for ventilation and cooling.

The rubber feet improve the switch’s grip on the mounting surface, and provide ventilation between switches when stacked together.
