5.Execute a ping command by typing ping followed by a space and the new IP address at the command prompt. For example:
ping 10.13.170.15
After issuing this command, the controller changes to the new address and starts responding to the ping requests, as described. You must ping the IPL T controller in order for the IP address change to take place.

You can reconnect using either Telnet or a Web browser to verify that the update was successful.

After you have installed the Global Configurator (GC) software on the PC and downloaded device drivers, do the following:
1.Create a GC project file.
2.Configure the IPL T Series controller and other devices.
3.Launch the GlobalViewer® interface.
4.Test the configuration and the system.
