How to Install the Module

Task 2: Seat the Module

To seat the module into a DIGITAL MultiSwitch 900 (Figure 2-4), complete the following steps:

Step Action

1Place the module’s mounting tab (1) into a mounting slot on the DIGITAL MultiSwitch 900.

2Pull up the release lever (2) to its unlocked position.

3Pivot the module on the mounting tab, align the connectors, and firmly push the module onto the backplane connectors.

4Press down the release lever (3) to ensure that it is locked.
