Although no configuration is necessary to run subscriber lines at the default settings, all 4000E parameter settings are software selectable via Command Line Interface (CLI), Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), and/or the Network Management System (NMS). 4000E management capabilities depend upon the management module model installed in your chassis. Once the management module has been initialized, the interface modules installed in your 4000E may also be configured as desired. Refer to the following for further information:
