the time of the dynamic MAC address being deleted, further causes the packets being forwarded incorrectly. An aging time that is too short causes the table entries to be deleted quickly. Some packets have to be broadcasted because no corresponding entries can be abided by. The efficiency of forwarded packets is reduced.

5.3.3.7 Ping

The ping function is to test the connectedness of the link between the switch and destination. This page is shown below:

Ping Count: Indicates the ping times in one submission.

Data Size: Indicates the data field length of ping packet.

Ping Interval: Indicates the time interval between two continuous pings.
