Use the timeofday command to to display the current time and date.. This command allows the BU to use the SNTP protocol to get the current time from the SNTP/NTP server. First set up the IP address of the SNTP/NTP server before using this command. If no time zone is defined, the GMT time is returned else local time for the

specified time zone is returned. Use set tzoneto set the local time zone. For example, use set tzone 8

to set the time zone for the west coast. Once time zone is defined, the adjusted daylight saving local time of the time zone is returned. The daylight saving time applies only to the United States.
