5.2Upgrading SDRAM Memory

You can upgrade memory in the AlphaPC 164SX by adding more DIMMs or replacing the ones you have with a greater size. Refer to Figure 2–1for DIMM connector locations.

Use the following general guidelines:

1.Observe antistatic precautions. Handle DIMMs only at the edges to prevent damage.

2.Remove power from the system.
