Check the Package Contents

Check that you have all the following items in the package:

DV1248ST flatbed scanner

SCSI interface card

SCSI cable

SCSI terminator

Transparency positioning frame

Mounted slide holder

35mm film-strip holder

Film holder

Power cord

Scanner software – 4 CD-ROM discs

Transparency positioning frame

Installing the SCSI Interface Card

Power off your computer and disconnect the computer power from the power outlet. Open the computer's cover and locate an unused PCI slot. Select an empty PCI slot and remove its bracket. Insert the SCSI interface card into the PCI slot (figure 1-1) and secure it by tightening the screw. Close the computer’s cover.
