Welcome to the Advanced Performance chapter. This chapter will provide information on enabling XLR8’s exclusive performance technology, MVP.
This Chapter assumes that you have the knowledge of a well versed technician, and that you understand how to remove and install various expansion cards. It also assumes that you have a good knowledge of troubleshooting procedures.
MVP, Multiple Variable Processing allows you to tap the unused performance in your MACh Speed system, by allowing you to adjust bus ratios, and CPU multiplier for the highest possible opti- mized settings for your system. In short, MVP will deliver up to 20% more speed for your MACh Speed System!
Current MACh Speed Settings
CPU operating clock speed is determined by the formula:
BUS Ratio X BUS Speed = CPU speed in MHz.
