Input source selection and surround setup
Before you can enjoy music or movies, you must select an input source and perform surround setups. This can be done in one of the following three ways:
•Display the Menu on the TV screen and use the cursor buttons and ENTER button on the remote controller.
•Use the unit's front panel operation buttons.
•Use the remote controller operation buttons

In the following procedure, use the remote controller unless otherwise specified.
1.Press the POWER button.
Note:
If the SPEAKERS MAIN indicator is not lit on the display, press the SPEAKERS MAIN button on the unit's front panel to make it appear on the display.
2.Press the ENTER button.
The Menu appears on the TV screen. (a)
3.Select "Input Selector" using the y or u cursor button, then press the s cursor button.
The Input Selector screen appears. (b)
4.Select the desired item(s) using the y or u button.
The item (or items) you select changes each time you press the y or u button.
"Picture" only "Picture" and "Sound" "Sound" only
To set different input sources for "Picture" and "Sound"...
If you wish to enjoy CD sounds while watching DVD pictures on TV, for example, repeat steps 4 and 5 to set different input sources for the "Picture" and "Sound" items.
