Troubleshooting

Note:

If a problem occurs while you are using the remote controller, first operate the unit using the front panel controls to confirm that it is not due to a malfunction (or worn out batteries) of the remote controller.

In the HALL, LIVE, ARENA, and STUDIO surround modes, the center speaker reproduces sound effects only. This causes little output from the Center speaker, in comparison with the DOLBY PRO LOGIC mode. In the STEREO mode, no sound is output from the Center speaker.

For the Center speaker, you must set the speaker mode to SMALL, or LARGE.

Check the output level of the Center speaker.

Hum, low-frequency noise

• Poor phono grounding (GND) connection.

• Remove the grounding wire if hum is reduced.

 

• Poor positioning of the audio connection
