Powering On the Switch

To apply power to the AT-GS900/16 and AT-GS900/24 switches, perform the following procedure:

1.Apply AC power to the switch by plugging the power cord into the AC power connector on the back panel of the unit, as illustrated in Figure 13.

Warning

Power cord is used as a disconnection device: To de-energize equipment, disconnect the power cord.  E3

2.Plug the other end or the power cord into a wall outlet.

3.Verify that the POWER LED is green. If the LED is OFF, refer to “Troubleshooting” on page 37.

The switch is ready for network operations.
