Inspecting the 32MB Before touching the memory SIMM make sure that you are using SIMM the ESD wrist strap and that it is connected as described previously.
The SIMM should only be held from the sides. Carefully remove the SIMM from the antistatic bag and inspect it for damages. If the SIMM appears to be damaged, return it to the antistatic bag and contact your 3Com Representitive.
