Dual Video cabling

(Refer to Figure 3 & Figure 7)

The CrystalView Plus dual video models provide total access to one PC and the ability to view a second video source from an extended distance over a pair of CATx cables. The second video source connected to the local unit can be any separate, composite TTL level, or sync on green video source.

Local unit to CPU cabling

(Refer to Figure 3 and Figure 7)

The keyboard, video, and mouse ports on the CPU providing the first video source are connected to the DB25F, CPU-KVM [1] connector using an appropriate CPU adapter cable. The second video source is connected to the DB25F, CPU-VIDEO [2] connector using a DB25M to HD15M cable.

Serial/audio models

(Refer to page 10 for a description of serial and audio cabling)

For the Dual serial/audio models, connect the serial DB9M port on the CPU to the DB9F serial connector on the CrystalView Plus using a DB9F to DB9M serial cable. The line out of the CPU’s sound card connects to the Line in port on the CrystalView Plus. The line in connects to the CrystalView Plus line out port.
