2.1 Installation Prerequisites
Keep the adapter serial number in a safe place. The Support Center uses the information to reference warranty and service contract data.
Verify the model indicated on the adapter before use. Contact the Symbol Support Center if an item is missing or not functioning. Refer to Appendix C for Customer Support contact information.
Avoid exposing the adapter to liquids or abrasive materials.

FCC RF exposure requirements state the PCI adapter external antenna should be positioned so it is at least 20 cm (8 inches) away from the user.
