Description

This submenu allows you to change the SMBIOS Event Log configuration settings.

This setting allows you to Enable or Disable SMBIOS Event Logging.

Use this setting for erasing the SMBIOS Event Log. Erasing is done prior to any logging activation during reset. Options are No, Yes Next Reset and Yes Every Reset.

This setting allows you to Enable or Disable runtime error logging support.

This setting allows you to enter the memory correctable error threshold value.

This setting allows you to Enable or disable PCI error logging for your system.

Use this setting to choose options for reactions to a full SMBIOS Event Log. Options include Do Nothing and Erase Immediately.

Use this setting to choose the option to Enable or Disable logging of system boot events.

This setting (Multiple Event Count Increment) is used to select the number of occurrences of a duplicate event that must pass before the multiple-event counter associated with the log entry is updated. This is specified as a numeric value in the range of 1 to 255. The default for this setting is set to 1.

This setting (Multiple Event Time Window) is used to select the number of minutes which must pass between duplicate log entries that utilize a multiple-event counter. The value ranges from 0 to 99 minutes. The default for this setting is set to 60.

Selecting this option displays the SMIBIOS Event Log for viewing.
