CONFIGURATION PARAMETERS

QOS

The QoS (Quality of Service) function allows you to differentiate traffic types and provide high-priority forwarding service for applications such as VoIP or gaming.

Enable or disable QoS

Check to enable or disable this function.

Best Effort, network forwards as many packets as

 

possible in as reasonable a time as possible. This is the

 

default per-hop behavior (PHB) for packet transmission.

 

 

AF1x, AF2x

Set the percentage for four different types of Assured

AF3x, AF4x

Forwarding.

 

 

 

EF

Expedited Forwarding, is intended to provide low delay,

 

low jitter and low loss delivery of packets.

 

 

Assured forwarding, defined in RFC 2597

Expedited forwarding, defined in RFC 2598
