5.3.6.Web Server Parameters Menus

The Web Server Parameters Menus are used to configure the internal web server, which allows the unit to be operated via the Web Browser Interface.

Web Browser Interface: Click the "Setup" button to access the configuration menus, and then click the Web Server Parameters button. The Web Server Parameters Menu will be displayed as shown in Figure 5.14.

Text Interface: Type /W and press [Enter]. The Web Server Parameters Menu will be displayed as shown in Figure 5.15.

The Web Server Parameters Menu allows you to define the following:

Service: Enables/Disables the IPS’s Web Server. Note that when the Web Server is disabled, you will not be able to communicate via the Web Browser Interface. (Default = On.)

Port Number: Sets the TCP/IP Port Number. The Port Number can be set to any valid number except 23; this is because 23 is the default port number that is used for communication with the unit via Telnet.
