4. Using the Web Interface

The IPS-0008 provides a graphic user interface that can be viewed from a web browser such as Internet Explorer. This enables you to access and control the IPS-0008 outlets and subsequently, it’s output devices remotely from your desktop, laptop, PDA, or even your mobile phone. This section provides instructions about how to use the web interface to configure and control the IPS-0008 remotely.

4.1. Overview

Start a web browser such as Internet Explorer from your host PC or laptop and enter the IP address of the IPS-0008 in the address bar. For details about setting the IP address of the system, see “Setting the IP address” on page 20. Click Go and the main status page of the IPS-0008 web inter- face is displayed.
