The ADSL Router provides home connectivity to an ADSL service provider network over an ADSL/Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) physical layer. The router can run upstream maximum transmission rates of 640Kbps and downstream maximum transmission rates of 8Mbps. The actual rate depends on the copper category of your telephone wire, distance from the central office and the type of ADSL service subscribed. A 10BaseT interface is provided for connection to an Ethernet LAN or Ethernet-equipped PC, and this router is easy to install and to configure.
