Regional Settings

You can subsequently adapt the key assignment of your virtual keyboard to the standard layouts of other countries. The settings are stored in an INI file. To change the settings, you will need to modify the file in a text editor such as NotePad. This can be done as follows:

1.Start the text editor and open the SOFTKEY.INI file from the following directory: C:\Program Files\ADS-TEC\SOFT-KEYBOARD

2.The available keyboard layouts and relevant parameters are listed in the initial section under Long version code.

3.In the program section under [Common] in the Long version parameter, replace the code entered after the equals sign with the desired code and save the file as a text file with the same name.

4.Open the software keyboard and press the Ctrl, Alt and F11 buttons one after the other. To confirm, click OK. The settings are then immediately applied.

Note: You can make further alterations to the default settings of the software keyboard. Information on altering the settings can be found in the README file on the floppy disk.
