Operator Interfaces

Keypads

The Panel C industrial computer incorporates a keypad with 75 front panel keys to provide a wide range of alphanumeric and control functions.

•Function keys, which provide 26 alpha characters when used in the Function (FN) mode

•Full numeric keypad with special character keys when used in the SHIFT mode

•Control keys including 4 arrow keys

•16 Operator defined keys

The main keypad returns the same scan codes as a standard PC/AT keyboard, listed in Table 5-1.

If an external PC/AT keyboard is connected, the integral keypads remain functional.
