The MicroMMAC-T Chassis View

NOTE

For a complete count on the total number of ports and the number of ports enabled and inserted — including those not physically residing in the hub — see Network Statistics in Chapter 3.

X (Ring) of X (Configured Rings)

This field indicates the currently selected ring and the number of configured rings in the hub.

Viewing Module Status

The Token Ring Board Status window (Figure 2-10) updates you on the condition of a selected module in the HubSTACK. To access the Token Ring Board Status window:

1.Click on the Module Index for the desired module. The Module menu will appear.

2.Drag down to Status.... The Token Ring Board Status window will appear.

Token Ring Board Status Window Fields

Board Number

The HubSTACK Interconnect Bus port number on the MicroMMAC-T occupied by the currently selected module.

Speed

The ring speed (4 or 16 MBits/sec) for which the module is configured.
