USING THE TUNER

1.If necessary, press POWER.

2.Press TUNER. The currently se- lected band (AM, FM1, or FM2), frequency number, and MHz or kHz appears on the system dis- play.

MANUAL TUNING

Follow these steps to tune to both strong and weak stations.

1.Repeatedly press BAND to select the desired band (AM appears for AM, FM1 or FM2 appears for FM).

3.Tune to AM or FM radio stations using manual, automatic, or pre- set tuning.

Notes:

You can use the remote control to tune preset stations. However, you cannot use the remote control to directly enter a radio station’s frequency number.

When you turn on the system, it tunes to the station that was play- ing when you last turned off the system.

If AUTO appears on the system display and you receive an FM broadcast in stereo, STEREO also appears.

If FM stereo reception is noisy and AUTO appears on the system dis- play, press FM MODE on the sys- tem. AUTO disappears. The sound is no longer in stereo, but
