Displaying Default ELAN information

The default ELAN is the ELAN associated with VLAN 0.

1.To display the default ELAN information, select Display default ELAN information:

Default ELAN information (VLAN = 0):

Association:	1
Elan name:	default
Assoc Status:	Active
LecIf Status:	operational
IfIndex:	1028

Enter CR to continue:

2.The Association value is the Index value which appears in the left-hand column of the ELAN/VLAN associations list.

3.Press Enter to return to the ELAN configuration menu.

Changing the Default ELAN Name

1.To change the default ELAN name select Change default ELAN name:

ELAN information for VLAN = 0:

Association:	1
Elan name:	default
Assoc Status:	Active
LecIf Status:	operational
IfIndex:	1028

>>> Enter new default ELAN name: alpha

>>>Enter CR to continue:

2.Enter the new default name and press Enter.

3.Press Enter to return to the ELAN configuration menu.
