14 (11) – Set ATM Port Parameters to their Default Values

This option returns the ATM port parameters to their default values.

ATM port default values:

 

UNI Version

: 3.1

Physical Media

: SONET

ATM Address

: Using ILMI

LECS ATM Address

: Using ILMI/WKA/PVC

ELAN Configuration

: default ELAN

Default Redundancy Mode: ENABLE

Default Active ATM Port: UPPER

15 (12) – Set Ethernet Port Parameters to their default values

This option returns Ethernet port parameters such as VLAN number and enable status to their default values. It does not affect agent access parameters such as IP addresses, IP Routes, and Permanent Managers. It does not set the ATM port parameters to their default values.

Use this option if, for example in using device management, you accidentally disabled the port to which the management station is connected. If you disable the Ethernet port to which the management station is connected you will no longer be able to contact the P117F(R) from the device manager.
