Connect the IDE interface cable.

Connect the 40 pin IDE cable into the MagicSpin CD-ROM drive’s IDE connector located on the back of the CD-ROM drive (Figure 5).

Make sure to align the red-lined edge of cable with Pin-1 of the IDE connector. Connect the other end into either your motherboard IDE controller, or your IDE controller card plugged into your motherboard (Figure 6).

Connect the Audio cable from your Sound Card (If necessary).

If you have a sound card or an audio interface card, use the audio cable to connect from the sound card audio port (SONY or IDE) to the MagicSpin CD-ROM drive’s Analog Audio connector located on the back panel (Figure 4).

Re-attach the computer’s cover.
