Care and Handling

Like any media, you should be careful when handling CD media. Avoid touching the bottom of the media, as well as leaving the CD in direct sunlight. Care should also be taken to keep the media clean. Use only water and a soft towel when cleaning the media. Do not use any type of solvent or harsh cleanser.

If you find the CD-ROM drive is having trouble reading a particular disc, you may want to try cleaning it. Use a slightly damp cloth rad, and make gentle sweeping motions from the center of the disc to the outer edge.

Do not place anything other than a Compact Disc on the CD-ROM drive tray. The drawer is designed to hold only the weight of a CD-ROM disc.
