Step Two: Attach PCI Expansion and Power Cable(s)

Aset of four 3-meter shielded, high-speed cables are included with your PCI Expansion System. One end of each cable should be connected to the RJ45 connectors on the 64-bit Host Interface and the other end should be connected to the correct RJ45 connector on the rear of the expansion system by following the diagrams shown below:

CAUTION

All cables attached to the expansion system must be securely fastened. If not fastened tightly, the connectors may cause intermittent or lost connections.

Check that the expansion system On/Off switch is set to the OFF position.

Connect the power cord to the power-in receptacle located at the rear of the enclosure. If your expansion system includes a 300W redundant power supply, make sure you attach a power cord to each power supply module and set the power supply switch to the ON position.
