To move quickly in a stored message, press the [CTRL] key and an arrow key at the same time. The display will keep showing more text on the side of the arrow until you release the key.

EDITING A STORED MESSAGE

To change the information in a stored message, you need to access the area in which the message is stored (see page 13).

Use the arrow keys to move forward or backward in text to reach the part you want to change.

Whatever you type in a memory area will replace any material unless you turn on the insert mode first.

To change an entire message:

Type over an existing message to replace it with new information, then type [CTRL] and [9] to save the new information. You may also erase all the information in a memory area (see page 14.)

Deletes a single character.

Type [CTRL] and [7] (Delete), and the character above the cursor will be deleted. You must press [CTRL] and 7 for each character that you want to delete.
