2.4.2 Floppy Disk Drive Connector (34-pin FDC)

This connector supports the floppy disk drive ribbon cable which is one of the items in your motherboard package. After connecting the single end to the board, connect the two plugs at the other end to the floppy drives. Remember, as in the last section, the red stripe on the edge of the ribbon cable must be the nearest to PIN 1 (on the left as shown below), or your connection won’t work.
