3.13 Supervisor Password
This option allows you to set a password to prevent others from changing the BIOS setting of your system.
The password prevents any unauthorized use of your computer. If you set a password, the system prompts for the correct password before you boot or access “Setup”.
To set a password:
1.At the prompt, type your password. Your password can be up to 8
2.After typing the password, press [Enter] key.
3.At the next prompt,
To disable the password, press [Enter] key when prompted to enter the password. The screen displays a message confirming that the password has been disabled.
Forget the password?
If you forget the password, you can clear it by erasing the CMOS Real Time Clock (RTC) RAM with jumper 1 (CMOS_CLR). To erase the RTC RAM:
1.Unplug your computer.
2.Set the JP1 to “CMOS_CLR” for about 10 seconds, and then to the default setting.
3.Turn on your computer.
4.Hold down [Delete] key during the POST process and enter BIOS setup to reconfigure
BIOS.
