The APC BC300 Triple Chassis is an American Power Conversion (APC) external management product that allows you to use monitoring and control management products with your APC BC300 series UPS.

3.5.1 Safety Warnings

Use the APC BC300 Triple Chassis only with an APC BC300 UPS.

Do not connect a computer to any APC BC300 Triple Chassis port using a straight-through extension cable. Use the communications cable provided with the APC BC300 Triple Chassis. Connections using a cable made by any other manufacturer may cause damage or improper operation of the APC BC300 Triple Chassis, the UPS, or the computer.

3.5.2.1 Monitoring Port

The Monitoring port has two functions:

Connecting to a terminal for configuration of the chassis. For direct connection to the Monitoring port, you must use the monitoring cable supplied with the chassis.
