Setting up the Printer to Work with Your Computer

Settings made in your software application normally override settings made in your printer driver.

Windows XP, 2000, Me, 98, 95, NT 4.0: Install the Printer Driver

To print from a Windows-based system, install the printer driver located in the Drivers folder on the CD supplied with your printer. This driver incorporates commands which use the full capability of the printer and automatically switches the printer to the correct emulation regardless of which emulation is selected in the printer menu.

1.Place the CD in your CD-ROM drive.

2.Click Start Settings Printers.
