3.Click Add Printer.

The Add Printer Wizard appears.

4.Follow the on-screen instructions.

5.When you get to the window which asks you to select the manufacturer and model of your printer, click Have Disk, then browse to the appropriate directory on the CD and double click the inf file:

Set the Emulation in the Printer Menu

Your printer has three emulations:

IBM® 2480 — the factory default

Epson® ESC/P2

Oki Data® MICROLINE® Standard

If you are using a non-Windows system such as LINUX®, a non-Windows application such as a DOS® program, or an older application such as Word Perfect® 5.1, you need to make sure you have the correct emulation selected in the printer menu (see “Changing the Emulation Default in the Printer Menu” below).
