Yellow:

Establishing DSL modem link

 

Yellow flashing:

Establishing DSL throughput

 

Green:

DSL modem link successful

 

Off:

DSL modem link is shut down

 

 

 

LAN

Green flashing:

Data traffic detected

 

Green:

LAN status - OK

 

Off:

LAN status - Not OK

 

 

 

Back Panel for 5935

The following table describes the various connections on the back panel of the Siemens 5935 Business Gateway.

Ethernet Ports

Eight 10/100 BaseT Ethernet switch ports

 

(8-pin, RJ-45)

 

 

Management Port

This 8-pin, RJ-45 port provides RS232

 

connectivity for console connections or a

 

dial backup analog modem connection.

 

 

DSL/WAN Port

A 6-pin RJ-11 port connects the DSL.
