5. LOADING THE MEDIA

An easy way to set the black mark sensor position

1Pull the media about 500 mm out of the front of the printer, turn the media back on it's self and feed it under the print head past the sensor so that the black mark can be seen from above.

2Adjust the sensor position to that of the black mark (the upper hole indicates the position of the black mark sensor).

NOTE: Make sure to set the sensor to detect the center of the black mark, otherwise a paper jam error could occur.

Setting the feed gap sensor position

1 Adjust the sensor to detect on the gap (the lower hole indicates the position of the feed gap sensor.)
