WARNING!

Turn the power OFF when inserting or removing the PCMCIA card.

CAUTION:

1.To protect PCMCIA cards, discharge static electricity from your body by touching the printer rear cover prior to touching the PCMCIA cards.

2.Before turning off the power when using ATA card, be sure to press the [PAUSE] key and check the ON LINE LED is unlit. Failure to do this may erase the data which is being written to the ATA card.

1.Turn the power off.

2.Insert the PCMCIA card into the card slot at the rear of the printer.

3. Turn the power on.

NOTES: 1. Be sure to protect a PCMCIA card when not in use in the printer by putting it in its protective cover.

2.Do not subject the card to any shocks or excessive forces.

3.Do not expose the card to extremes of heat by either storing in direct sunlight or close to a heater.

4.Do not expose the card to excessive humidity by wiping it with a wet cloth or storing it in a damp place.

5.Before inserting or removing the card, make sure that the power switch is turned off.

6.The following PCMCIA cards can be used.
