Removing a Hard Drive

1Follow the procedures in "Before You Begin" on page 101.

2Remove the computer cover (see "Removing the Computer Cover" on page 103).

3Disconnect the power and data cables from the drive.

4Disconnect the data cable from the system board.

5Remove the four screws securing the hard drive.

NOTICE: Ensure that you do not scratch the screw holes with the screw driver, as the hard disk circuit board assembly is exposed.

6Slide the drive out and away from the front of the computer.
