Ethernet Port

Reset Button – press this button to revert to the factory default settings of the DWL-810

Power Receptor – connect one end of the included 5V DC Power Adapter into the power receptor on the DWL-810 and connect the other end of the Power Adapter to a power outlet.

Category 5 is the most reliable grade of twisted-pair cable. It is either Straight- Through cable or Cross-Overcable. Always check your installation instructions to make sure that you have selected the correct type of Category 5 cable.

For the DWL-810, you will use Cross-Overcable to connect to a computer for configuration and to connect to any device with an Ethernet adapter. Use a Straight-Throughcable to connect the DWL-810 directly to a switch.
