What is WPA?

WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access) is a new standard for wireless encryption for 802.11g/802.11b communications.

Does the Router function as a firewall?

Yes. The Router provides its security through the use of NAT firewall, which acts as a physical barrier between your network and the Internet.

What is NAT and how does it protect my network?

NAT (Network Address Translation) is a type of security that masks the private IP addresses of the computers on your network with a single public IP address. With NAT, the private IP address of the computers on your network is never transmitted over the Internet.

Which Virtual Private Networking (VPN) protocols are supported?

The Router supports pass-through for PPTP, L2TP, and IPSec.

Can I use Internet firewall or security programs with my network?

Because the Router uses NAT firewall security, it is not necessary to use any other program for security.
