Canceling Playback

Pause

Press the PLAY button.

“PLAY PAUSE” flashes on the display.

To fast-forward

Press the FF/+ button once while stopped. The recorder stops when it reaches the

Press the PLAY button again.

Playback will resume at the point of interruption.

Note

The recorder stops when it has been left paused for 10 minutes or longer.

If the FF/+ button is pressed at the end of a file, the recorder stops at the beginning of the next file, and the recording date/time of the file flash for 2 seconds. And if the FF/+ button is pressed while the recording date/time are flashing, the recorder skips to the beginning of the next file.

Press the FF/+ button once while fast- forwarding.

or

Press the FF/+ button twice while stopped.

The recorder skips to, and stops at, the end of the file and displays the recording time and date.

Note

If there is an index mark in the middle of a file, the recorder stops at the position of the index mark, and displays the index number. If the FF/+ button is pressed again, the recorder skips to the next index mark if there is another one, or to the end of the file.

To skip continuously

Continue pressing the FF/+ button while fast- forwarding.

To rewind

Press the REW/– button once while stopped.

The recorder stops when it reaches the beginning of the file.

Note

If the REW/– button is pressed at the beginning of a file,

the recorder starts rewinding from the end of previous file.
