Beyond the Basics
Use the following keystrokes to navigate through the ID lists:
•Press PROG, TRUNK to enter the ID list for the current channel storage bank.
•Press and release e or d to scroll through one at a time.
•Press and hold e or d to rapidly scroll through ID memories.
•Press TRUNK to advance to the next ID
•Press FUNC e or d to advance to the next or previous ID list. 6. If you want to tag the ID, press TEXT.
7. Enter the desired text tag for the ID.
8. Press ENT. (See “Text Input Chart”).
9.To store the next ID memory in sequence, press e and repeat Step 5.
10.Press SCAN to start scanning.
When automatically storing trunked IDs in the ID list by pressing TRUNK during a trunked transmission, the scanner automatically stores the active ID in the next available open ID storage location in the ID list. We suggest leaving ID sub- bank 0 empty when first setting up an ID list. This provides a location for new
