The Compaq Deskpro EX Series of Personal Computers support up to five drives in various configurations.

One standard 3.5-inch, 1.44-MB diskette drive mounted with a drive

 

 

adapter into a 5.25-inch bay.

Two standard 3.5-inch drive bays; bay 4 contains the preinstalled

 

 

hard drive, bay 5 is available for an optional hard drive.

 

 

 

Drive bay numbers are stamped on the chassis.

To verify the type and size of the mass storage devices installed in the computer, run Computer Setup.
