Starting Your VAIO C1 PictureBook Computer

1Lift the cover while holding the bottom of the computer firmly. Do not grasp the camera lens when opening the cover as this may damage the unit.

Camera

Turn the built-in camera towards you before closing the cover. Do not turn the built-in camera while the cover is closed.

2Press the power button until the green power indicator light turns on.

If you push the power button for more than four seconds, the computer turns off.

3If necessary, adjust the brightness controls for the LCD display. To decrease the brightness, press Fn+F5 and then the down or left arrow key. To increase the brightness, press Fn+F5 and then the up or right arrow key.
